Custom software and web applications
When spreadsheets and disconnected tools no longer fit the work, a focused application can make the process easier to manage. I build dashboards, portals and web applications around the people using them, the information they need and the actions they take.
Discuss your projectWhen this is a good fit
For businesses that need shared records, clearer permissions, repeatable workflows or a customer-facing application. A first release should solve a specific operational problem without turning every possible future feature into a requirement.
What the work includes
- Requirements, user journeys and a prioritized first release
- Interface design for everyday tasks and important edge cases
- Application development, data structure and role-based access
- Integration with available business APIs and tools
- Functional checks, documentation and a launch and support plan
How the project moves forward
Map the users, workflows, data and existing constraints.
Review key screens and agree on what the first release must do.
Build in reviewable stages and test the important user flows.
Prepare deployment, handover and a plan for fixes and future changes.
Scope and investment
Pricing follows the agreed scope: pages or workflows, integrations, content, user roles and ongoing support. After reviewing the brief, I can define deliverables, dependencies and a proposal. There is no fixed price that fits every project.

Should we build custom software or use an existing product?
An existing product is usually the better starting point if it covers the main workflow at a reasonable cost. Custom development makes sense when the required process, integration or user experience cannot be achieved reliably with the available options.
What happens after the first release?
The handover should include access, documentation and clear ownership of hosting and maintenance. Support, monitoring and future changes are agreed as part of the project plan, with priorities based on actual use after launch.
